Q — Rashi says 'ויעש נח ככל אשר צוהו ה'' refers to Noach's entering the ark — but that is stated explicitly elsewhere (ויבא נח... אל התיבה), so why repeat it?

A — Or HaChaim argues the verse teaches something not stated anywhere else: that Noach took seven pairs of each pure species and pure bird, fulfilling the command of verses 2-3. The later verses (7-9) describe animals coming 'שנים שנים' two by two — but that refers only to the pairs that came on their own 'לקיום המין' for species-preservation; the extra five of each pure species were 'לצרכי עצמו,' which Noach had to gather himself ('תקח לך') and could later offer as korbanot. The word 'ככל' hints at the 'כל' in God's original command.
