Jeremiah 41:5
Jeremiah 41:5
The verse describes people coming with offerings and mourning signs from destroyed places, and is often read as part of the biblical backdrop to mourning Jerusalem's destruction.
some men came from Shechem, Shiloh, and Samaria—eighty of them, their beards shaved, their garments torn, and their bodies gashed—carrying grain offerings and frankincense to present at the House of GOD.
